Expert Hand Surgeon in Southlake, TX

At The Hand and Wrist Institute, we can help you get the right diagnosis and develop an effective treatment plan to protect or restore your hand and wrist strength and range of motion. We specialize in conservative treatments but offer a wide range of expert surgeries as well when non-surgical options don’t work. Come to us for a full evaluation and treatment plan.

Comprehensive Hand and Wrist Treatment

Our integrated approach includes everything from your initial consultation to pain management and rehabilitation. We commonly start with conservative care using a non-surgical approach. We may proceed to surgical options if these initial treatments don’t improve your condition. Dr. Knight excels in advanced wrist arthroscopic procedures that take a minimally invasive approach.

Non-Surgical Treatments

Non-surgical treatments are the first option for many hand and wrist conditions. Proper immobilization followed by carefully managed rehabilitation can offer a full recovery for numerous injuries and ailments. We won’t suggest complex procedures unless they’re necessary. Our team will work closely with you throughout the recovery process to assist with pain management so you can comfortably work to restore strength and range of motion in the affected area.

Surgical Treatments

In some cases, surgical treatment is the best course of action for prompt symptom relief and a full recovery. Dr. Knight excels at complex hand and wrist procedures. He’s an expert with many advanced techniques, including stitchless endoscopic carpal tunnel release. Dr. Knight was one of the first surgeons in the nation to implant the internal computerized Free Hand System that helps restore hand function for quadriplegic patients.

We’re passionate about cutting-edge care. When you come to the Hand and Wrist Institute, you can leave confident that you’re getting some of the best care in the country for your body.

Wrist Conditions

Your wrist provides the essential range of motion that allows you to drive, write, cook, and perform many functions of daily life.
